To add a touch of seaside adventure, there's also an outdoor shower to rinse off after a day of hiking or beaching it.
The cottage boasts a beachy theme, with vibrant coastal inspired decor that sets the mood for a laid back escape. Gather around the fire pit in the evenings for s'mores and star gazing. Enjoy the serene surrounds with lots of deer, eagle, turkeys and wildlife for the true Maine experience.
Whether you love to hike, sitesee, shope or visit the local beaches this is the ideal spot to creat lasting memories in Maine.
Bedrooms:
Main bedroom has a king bed and lots of storage.
Two additional bedrooms have bunk beds with queen sized beds on the bottom and on the top!
The full sized bathroom had a tub/shower and don't forget about that outdoor shower in true Maine fashion.
Kitchen: Lots of room and storage fully stocked with supplies for cooking and entertaining. The deck has a table overlooking the spacious lawn. There is also a picnic table, propane grill, and fire pit for wonderful outdoor living space.
Stretch out to watch a family moive, put a puzzle together, or play one of the many games in the living room. Come, relax and enjoy!
Washer/dryer are in the basement. Linens and supplies are all ready for your arrival!
Approximately 23 miles to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Schoodic mountain, Schoodic Point approx. 13 miles.

Payment Policies
A partial payment in the amount of 50% of the grand total is due no later than 1 day(s) after confirmation of intention to book or upon booking if that date has already passed. Remaining payment is due no later than 30 days prior to arrival. If the booking is made after [or within 7 days of when] the second payment would be due, then this payment will be combined and due together with the first payment. A separate refundable damage deposit is required in the amount of $300.00. The damage deposit is payable 30 days prior to arrival.
Cancellation Policy 97% of paid prepayments refundable when canceled 60 days before arrival or earlier. 47% of paid prepayments refundable if cancelled between 31 days and 60 days prior to your stay. 0% refundable 30 days or less prior to your stay. There is a 3% cancellation fee on all cancellations for credit card processing.

RENTAL RULES
Smoking and vaping are NOT allowed ANYWHERE on the property. Not inside, not outside. If smoking is detected inside the house, there will be an automatic $600 cleaning fee charged to your credit card.
Illegal activities are NOT allowed on the property, including, but not limited to, illegal substances, illegal drugs, and underage drinking.
People other than those in the Guest party set forth above may not stay overnight in the property. Any other person on the property is the sole responsibility of Guest.
If you are adding guest(s) to the guest party we must be notified IN ADVANCE of your reservation. In addition, the total number of guests must not exceed the maximum capacity of the home allowed.
You are a short term renter, you are not considered a tenant for any rights or purposes.
The unit is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
Keep the property and all furnishings in good order.
Only use appliances for their intended uses.
PETS ARE NOT are allowed some properties. All pets must have been accepted in advance, and have a pet addendum signed. All pets require a pet fee paid in advance.
Fire pits are not allowed on some properties. Please read the guest book. Some towns/properties do not allow ANY outdoor fires.
Swim at your own risk. Be aware of the tides, and storms coming in. Kayaks can be rented locally, and are not supplied.
Housekeeping: There is no daily housekeeping service. While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.
Water and Septic: The property is on a well and septic systems. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products or wipes should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products or wipes have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged for damages/repairs. When using the washer and dryer, please note that there may be minerals in the water which may affect the contents of the wash.
Check IN is at 3 pm, Check OUT is at 10 am. Please pay attention to these times, the cleaners will be working to prepare the property promptly.
Please move any furniture, toys, bedding, etc back to where you found it before leaving.
Please clean the outdoor grill, table tops, range, counter tops, dishes, etc. before you leave. Please start a load of towels in the washing machine. Please strip sheets and put them on top of the beds. Please read the guest book for more relative instructions regarding your specific rental.
Please put trash out on trash day specific to your property. Instructions can be found in the guest book. We use garbage tags that we pay for, at most properties. Put your white kitchen garbage bags into one black outdoor garbage bag, and put ONE tag on the black bag only. If you are confused, please refer to the guest book, or call the property manager. It is important that trash goes out on trash days.
Recycling in Maine is not what it used to be. We are taking returnables only, that are redeemable for money. You can take them yourself to redeem or leave them in a separate bag for pick up. We do not recycle glass, misc. plastic, aluminum, etc.
Please report anything broken or damaged as soon as possible.
